In our very first relief project, we teamed up with the well-known organization, Famidi, to raise awareness for the families suffering through the brutal winters of Afghanistan. The Watan Project wanted to contribute to Famidi’s already consistent work distributing clothes and wood stock to needy families so we devised a social media campaign to raise money and awareness.

With the help of our followers and supporters, we succeeded and were able to donate $1,000 to help provide 10 families with wood stock that would last them through the winter. We also indirectly influenced a few thousand extra dollars in donations through our awareness efforts.
