Our Ramadan 2020 fundraiser was one of our very first large scale projects. We set an ambitious goal of $10,000 and although we weren’t able to reach it, we were still able to provide over 60,000 meals to 100 families! We would like to thank our donors and supporters from all around the globe for making this project a reality.

This project would not have been possible without our amazing partner, the Gulzad Foundation, a non-profit organization run in Kabul, Afghanistan. The Gulzad Foundation is a trusted organization that has been operating in Afghanistan for over 20 years and has contributed to many philanthropic ventures in education and women’s rights.

With the assistance of our wonderful partners at the Gulzad Foundation, we were able to provide high-quality videos and records of all our distributions efforts. Videos and documentation are on our YouTube channel (Watan Project) and Instagram (@watanproject).
